Green Product Marketing Strategy

When advertising health related and green products, the fundamentals of advertising and marketing remain the same. You must know your target market and you must create a benefit-laden marketing message that in simple language explains the most valuable benefits a person will receive from buying your service or your green product.

Just as important is knowing how to get your advertising message to your precise target market. That means performing research. Who is most likely to buy what you sell? Who would be your perfect customer? Does this person read the local newspaper, listen to a specific local radio station, watch the Discovery Channel on Cable, read the local penny-saver, purchase online, etc. Many times the best way to reach your target market is with a series of postcards or sales letters. The key is you must get your message in front of the market that is most likely to need or want what you are selling. Then, keep your message in front of your core target marketing by contacting them every month either by direct mail (post card or sales letter) or consistent advertising.
